1997 Carousel-Style Horse

Very large stander. Hand-carved from basswood by John Rodgers Garton, “Mountaineer” is in the style of an frontier hunting horse with bear pelt saddle blanket, musket and wild bird trappings. Used on display for years at a famous north of Boston restaurant. Excellent condition. Paint has been touched up and inpainted as needed. One-of-a-kind figure for sure. Stand included.
