1988 Carousel-Style Horse

Very large stander. Hand-carved from basswood by Dr. John Rodgers Garton, “Sugar” is in the style of a Military Horse with bedroll cantle, sword, bugle trappings and eagle shield on the shoulder. Used on display for years at a famous north of Boston restaurant. Excellent condition. Paint has been touched up and inpainted as needed. One-of-a-kind figure for sure. Stand included.
