Restored Vintage Miniature British Galloper – SOLD

A working model Carousel of British Golden Galloping Horses made around 1950 – 1960s. This model is truly a beautiful detailed one-off example of world-famous British galloping horse carousels. Hand-crafted, as were the full sized carousels of the late 1800s and early 1900s as it is modeled after.

Most recently purchased after it had been in storage for at least 30 years, It was said to have operated in amusement arcades on the Southcoast in the ‘60s and ‘70s, and was in a glass cabinet, coin operated on an old English 5-pence piece.

Lovingly restored and updated to modern technology running a small electric motor, music and LED lighting. The speed and sound can be increased or decreased, by simple knob controls.
