Vintage metal figure from the signage at Los Angeles’ Beverly Park.
Figure would have been constructed either just before or after WWII.

Provenance: Beverly Park, Los Angeles, CA, sign – 1st “E” in Beverly (see photo below from 1974). Beverly Park (1943-1974) was at the corner of Beverly Blvd. and La Cienega Blvd., across from the CBS studios. The site is now the famous Beverly Center shopping center.
CONDITION: Old paint, scuffed. One rear leg broken off and welded back on.
Measurements: Full: (feet to feet) 54″ L; Chest to rump 28″ L
