Description

History:

Was used by Donald & Nancy Moyer, Carousel Midway Shows, in Tacoma, Washington from the 1950’s to about 1984. Lourinda Bray purchased it and then sold it to Merle Thomsen sometime around 2010. With a large collection Mexican juvenile figures, Merle intended to make an especially fun children’s carousel, though the project never got completed before his passing. There are panels that are painted with Disney characters but there are also older trim pieces that seem similar to the 1930’s Parker carousel ‘City Carousel’ in Faulkton, South Dakota.

Currently inquiring with the C. W. Parker Museum in Leavenworth for more history.
