CA 1890s German Heyn Lion

Leaping lion from the late 1800s. Stripped to bare wood in very good condition. Great mane detail, simple trappings with protruding tongue and small sharp teeth. Purchased from the Freels Collection consigned to Norton Auctioneers, Oct. 12, 1991 in San Francisco. Stand included.
