Circa 1903 Outside Row Looff Greyhound

This is a big and beautiful dog from the Presidential Looff carousel that started in Lakeside Park and sadly finished in Goddard Park. People talk about “lead” horses, if there were or were not. If there were, this is the lead figure on this carousel. Beautifully carved and decorated. Six-foot long. So well decorated, I am sure this guy won the races.
