FUN FOREST AMUSEMENT PARK CAROUSEL
The heavily jeweled M.D. Borrelli/Carmel-Illions-Looff mix Fun Forest Amusement Park carousel was dispersed at what would become one of the most famed of all the big carousel auctions. The Illions flying mane stander from Fun Forest broke $100,000 and all carousel figure auction records at a sale price of $101,750. Outshining any single carousel horse sale was the historic saving of the Minn. State Fair, St. Paul, MN, 1914 PTC #33 carousel; now known as Cafesjian’s Carousel in a new building in Como Park, St. Paul, MN.
