CA 1905 Heyn Prancer

The fanciest style of Heyn prancers, referred to as a Dresden-Parade mirror horse. Peek-a-boo mane. Lion’s head on the back of saddle cantle. Park paint. Horse in excellent condition with all mirrors intact. Stand included.

Once graced the walls in the penthouse of the castle of the Count and Countess at Lake Mondsee, Austria, where The Sound of Music was filmed. Visitors to the castle over the years included Clark Gable, Greta Garbo, Ava Gardner and Placido Domingo among other celebrities and Royalty.
