These two rare ca. 1900 figures were last aboard the Looff carousel in New London, CT. The panthers were designed to be yoked together and placed in front of a chariot. Beautifully artistic, rare and important carousel carvings as well as Folk Art gems.

One panther has been completely stripped. The other retains some of the original factory paint. The wooden yoke is the original.
