CA-1900-1927-Dentzel-carousel-Presidents-Park-Carlsbad-NM-051*We previously did not have provenance listed for this horse. Thanks to the recently posted LOST CAROUSELS photos gallery at CarouselHistory.com, we can now see clearly that this jumper was last aboard the famed Presenent’s Park Dentzel – once a menagerie machine with two rare flirting rabbits, the carousel first operated at Audubon Park in New Orleans, later at Hemisfair in Texas, and finally as an all horse machine at President’s Park in Carlsbad, NM. Although we don’t have a full shot of the jumper, clearly it is the same horse shown inside row to the American flag – eagle stander.
