A huge and beautiful example of Wm. Dentzel Co.’s King of the Menagerie showing possible Muller influence.

Purchased in Yonkers, NY, in 1975. Provenance is unknown, however, this figure looks to be a close brother to the Lion on the Muller influenced Dentzel menagerie at Cedar Point. Wood restoration by John Hughes. Paint by Lise Liepman.
